Different day, same Gauntlet!

We were able to stop and play on the equipment. Finally got pics of it too. The really fun part was the slide. TBG wouldn't let me try it before, he said I needed a spotter first and since Deb was with us, it was Party Time!

Farmer's Market

Took a trip downtown to the Farmer's Market. Boy, was there a lot of people! Lots of smells, jugglers and some good music too.

Now I know what the "Gauntlet" is!

TBG said I was big enough to withstand the "Gauntlet". I had some idea what he meant from reading Carver's Blog, but had not experienced it myself. Well...I understand NOW!

This crazy guy took me on an hour walk and THEN had me do some work on the playground equipment. What a taskmaster!! He said I might as well get used to it, there's a lot more coming. I did get to see a lot of people, bicyclers and animals, so it was kinda fun.

I think I'll sleep the rest of the day!

Made a trip to Ames Ford

TBG needed to get the oil changed in the silver bullet, so we packed up and went to the local Ford dealer. They were really fast, but I did manage to meet a lot of the people that work there! They were in dire need of some puppy love and I was happy to oblige.

They were sad that I didn't stay too long. I told them I'd be back in a few thousand miles :^)

Made a trip to Ohio

I finally got to see the training center in Ohio. Hopefully in 14 months, I'll be headed there again!

My predecessor in the Sellers household; Carver, graduated as a Service Dog this past weekend. I was not quite old enough to attend, but I did get in some quality puppy play time and time with lots of humans!

What the, how did I get up there???

We had a great time in Ohio! I was happy to see old friends and make new ones.

The trip home was not as pleasant, but (butt...I keed), I still got to meet Deb's sisters and their families. It seems I've had a bad case of EPS the last few days. TBG (and my Vet) says it's stress related. I have a clean bill of health and hopefully can "firm" everything up!

Stairs

So, we don't have any stairs in the apartment, but TBG found some and made me work on them till I was going up and down. He's a slave driver sometimes! Didn't see the old man huffing up and down those stairs...nope, he had Deb do all the work!

Just when I thought we were done, TBG says we're going for a long walk. On the main road no less!

Let's just say I rocked it and showed him who the big dog is!!

We returned to the house and he managed to sneak a pic of me "resting"

Vet Visit

I went to the Vet's office today to get my 3rd round of shots. Met my new Doc and told her all about me and Canine Companions.

Weighed in at a whopp'n 29.4 lbs!

Of course, I'm in tip top shape!

Met some neighbors!

Went out for my nightly walk (boy was it hot) and met some very nice neighbors. I tried my best to contain my awesomeness, but it was just too much to control. I mean, they were little people, more my size (shorter than TBG and much nicer, I might add) and they had a wonderful chicken smell on their hands.

I told them all about Canine Companions for Independence and the cool things I will able to do when I'm older. I think they liked me and were impressed with my mad puppy skills!

TBG and I made a trip to Council Grove!

He needed to go back and pick up a few more items, so we packed up the big truck and headed out Tuesday morning. Let's just say, the accommodations were not as comfy as the silver bullet!! I had to travel in the front seat (in my crate) next to TBG. I took up most of the truck!

Once in CG, I got to meet my old friend Brad and spent some time spreading my puppy awesomeness. We walked around town, met a few people and generally burned off some stored energy. We played some fetch in TBG's old store.



We got up the next morning and headed back to Ames. TBG surprised me with a stop at Gabe's house for a little play time with Gabe and Leitner! We took turns being the "top dog".

Aunt Debbie and Aunt Linder wanted some fresh puppy breath, so I happily obliged!

I had a ton of fun and traveled well (so TBG says). It's been nice to kick back and relax now that we're back in Ames.
