Sorry for the delay.

Sorry for the lapse in posting. I've been kinda busy with the move!

Last weekend and Monday we spent loading all of my toys, food and gear into the trailer. Had to explain to TBG where to put everything! And why are we taking all of these eggs? Don't they have chickens in Iowa? They're certainly getting some bright white chicken LEGS! Ha ha ha ha ha ha

We played once all that was finished. The house was empty and I had LOTS of run'n room.

Before we left on Tuesday, I got to see Monna one last time for some shots, worming and an overall checkup. I weighed in at a whop'n 21.4 lbs.

TBG is pretty goofy huh!

We made it to Ames and stayed at a local motel. I hear they had great food!

Do I remind you of a certain pig in a certain horror flick?

I'm bored, give me something to chew on!

Finally made it to my new digs. I think I'm going to like it here!

I hear there's a younger CCI puppy that arrived not too far from here, maybe I'll get to go and play soon!

The Farewell Tour

TBG, Dr. No and me headed out to "the big town" of CG today to skip down Memory Lane and say farewell to all of the good times (of course it was more like 'The Hello Tour' for me, but I'm taking a bit of poetic license here to make the story line work. You'll  also see a theme in most of the pictures today. Can you guess what it is? I'll tell you at the end of the post....)

We had to go and have photo opps where the other pups have been. Here I am in front of the Hays House.

And we visited the playground too. I was fearless and ready to hit the slide on my own! However, TBG said I didn't make the height requirement yet and I had to ride in the kiddie seat with him. How humiliating!

I had to put my own stamp on my first walk downtown, though. Here's my Marilyn Monroe impersonation!

I tried to get a quick self-portrait in while TBG and SWMBO were getting over their shock and fixing my cape! I think my smile looks just like Marilyn's, don't you?

After that episode, TBG didn't want to scandalize the town, so he carried me for a while!

That cuteness quotient is really working in my favor on this hot July day!

We went to town today so I could meet all of Carver's peeps. First we stopped at The Clothes Line to meet Baby!

I'm really glad I got to meet all the folks in Council Grove that have been such great friends of CCI pups. They are top notch friends!!

Puppy Play Time!

I was told yesterday was going to be fun, but they didn't say I'd have the time of my life!! We started out Saturday morning with my breakfast. Along with the gentle leader, TBG added my work'n cape. I think it's still a little big, but I'm trying hard to grow into it.

We traveled to Kansas City and I got to hang out at Yegger's house while all the big dogs went out for a work day. Here are a few pics TBG took of the outing.

Everyone returned to Yegger's house and we all had a great afternoon playing in the grass and pools. We ran, played hard, ran some more, went for a swim, ran and played even harder.

Thanks to Yegger's humans for letting us pups have a great stress relieving afternoon. I heard there was a ton of human food too!

What a Day!

I had a bath last night, teeth brushed, ears cleaned, nails trimmed, and a bikini wax. Wasn't sure what the big deal was, but I found out this morning. Dr.No said we were going to her old stomp'n grounds so I could meet one of her good friends. Legend has it, Dr. No's friend used to play with Jeb, Ansel and Carver, so it was only fitting I get to meet this wonderful friend of pups.

and in return, I got some great ear rubb'n. Yes, I WAS in heaven!

Then I showed off my secret strategy for becoming a blue cape dog... "military pushups."

Sadly there are no pics of the stair work, elevator rides, and running/walking down the long corridors on carpet and polished floors.

I'll just say that when we left, I slept all the way home, all afternoon and into the evening. As soon as I hit "post", I'm crawling back in the crate! Dr.No told me I have an even bigger day tomorrow. I get to see my sister Pastel, Mr. Muir, Kindy, Yeager, Gabey Baby and Mr. Winslow (he's a Facility Dog). I think there will be lots of humans too. That'll be great for the after play time rubb'n!

Happy 4th of July!

I'm glad I'm able to celebrate this wonderful day in America!

We started out the day with my morning training season during breakfast. I don't particularly like the gentle leader, but TBG says I might as well get used to it if I'm gonna be a work'n dog.

TBG and I went outside to work on the trailer. He said I could help adjust the wheel bearings! I told him I'd be happy to lick off the old grease, but he gave me the stink eye and said NO!
